Dear Colleagues,
We are glad to announce the Workshop IDEALS: Investigating Dark Energy At Large Scales

IDEALS is an informal workshop organized at the International School for
Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste, Italy and financed by the Young
Scientist SISSA Grant

Dates: 10th−11th November 2011

Location: SISSA (, Trieste, Italy, in the beautiful
new building recently inaugurated.

The Workshop is intended to address relevant topics in present
cosmology, related to the concept of Dark Energy and its impact on large
scale cosmology. We will discuss our understanding of Dark Energy and
Modified Gravity, both as a theoretical challenge and in view of the
next generation of experiments devoted to this topic.

We will have a few talks and time for discussion.
Confirmed speakers include: L.Amendola, M.Cirelli, P.Creminelli, J.Dunkley, J.Garcia-Bellido, M.Kunz, Y.Mellier, R.Sheth.
