Heavy Neutrinos in CAMB

Post by Devin Walker » September 06 2009

Hi Anthony & others,

I have downloaded CAMB and want to get a feel for the program by adding hypothetical heavy neutrinos with a 1 MeV sized mass. This does not seem possible from the params.ini file.

Can you point me in the right direction? I appreciate you time.

Devin

The code assumes neutrinos are relativistic when the initial conditions are set up, so it may take some changes to make things work if that is not the case. It also assumes the neutrino density is related to the photon density by the usual relation, so if you want to do sterile neutrinos that would also require changes.
