Dear colleagues,

We are very pleased to invite you to participate in the "Bilbao
encounter on new standard cosmology" (BICOS 2007) which will take
place from the 10th to the 13th of April of 2007 at the Sarriko
(Bilbao) campus of the University of the Basque Country.

This a meeting to bring together cosmologists from all over the world
to present and discuss recent developments on cosmology topics like

-Inflation
-Dark energy
-CMB
-Structure formation
-Cosmological parameters
-Extra dimensions
-Quantum cosmology

Confirmed speakers include Fernando Atrio (U. de Salamanca), Francis
Bernardeu (CE de Saclay), Juan García Bellido (U.A. de Madrid),
Enrique Gaztañaga (IEEC/CSIC, Barcelona), Reynald Pain (IN2P3, Paris),
Will Percival (Portsmouth) and Pilar Ruiz Lapuente (U. de Barcelona).

There is plenty of space for further contributed talks and
registration will be free of charge. Our aim is to encourage specially
the participation of young researchers (both at pre and postdoc
levels), and with that aim we expect to be able to award some grants
to cover travel and accommodation expenses.

Further details will be given in the short future at the conference
web site www.ehu.es/bicos

We look forward to seeing you in Bilbao.
