7th KIAS Workshop on Cosmology and Structure Formation, Seou
Posted: August 02 2016
This is the first announcement of the 7th KIAS Workshop on Cosmology and Structure Formation, to be held from 30th October to 4th November 2016 at Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS), Seoul.
Our understanding of the distribution of matter in the Universe has made rapid progress in recent years. Increasingly sophisticated simulations on both small and large scales, coupled with high quality galaxy data has introduced a new era of precision cosmology. The aim of this workshop is to review the latest theoretical, computational and observational advances in cosmology and large scale structure, and to promote collaboration between specialists in different fields.
Topics to be discussed during the workshop include
- Large Scale Structure
- Cosmic Microwave Background
- Formation and Evolution of Galaxies
- Reionization of the Universe
- Dark Energy and Dark Matter
The conference will be held on campus at KIAS, in a vibrant suburb of Seoul close to the city center. Registration is now open, and the deadline for submission of contributed talks is 9th September. Further information can be found on the conference web page
