MODIFIED GRAVITY AND COSMOLOGY, March 9-13 2015, at Nordita

Post by David Fonseca Mota » December 16 2014

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to welcome you to attend a conference on MODIFIED GRAVITY AND COSMOLOGY, March 9-13, 2015, at Nordita, Stockholm, Sweden.

A range of topics will be covered in gravitation and cosmology. We hope that the status of all the most important approaches to modifying gravity will be
reviewed, the latest research results will be presented and bold new ideas will be put forward! Cosmological aspects are to be discussed extensively, from the
problem of the dark sector today via CMB and LSS to the physics of the early universe, inflation and before.

You are also welcome to propose a talk. However, we encourage to apply soon, as the number of participants is limited to max. 50 and to allow time for free
discussions, the schedule won't be too busy with talks. There is no conference fee, and coffee breaks and a banquet will be free to the accepted participants.

The conference is held within the framework of the 3-week program "Extended Theories of Gravity", from 2nd to 20th of March, during which Nordita hosts many eminent scholars in theories of gravity. We can thus very warmly recommend a longer stay, before and/or after the conference itself.

You can register at: http://www.nordita.org/xgrav2015/ .

Please let other interested people know about this conference, and we hope to see you in March!

Best regards,

Kari Enqvist (Helsinki Institute of Physics)
Fawad Hassan (Stockholm University)
Lavinia Heisenberg (Nordita)
Tomi Koivisto (Nordita)
David Mota (ITA, University of Oslo)
