Dear Colleagues

This is a quick reminder about "Tales of Lambda", a conference to be held in Nottingham, July 1-5, 2013. The conference aims to bring together a variety of physicists with the goal of understanding the cosmological constant and its role in explaining the nature of dark energy, from both the theoretical and observational point of view. Plenary speakers include

Tom Banks (UC Santa Cruz and Rutgers)
Rachel Bean (Cornell)
Stanley Brodsky (Stanford)
Cliff Burgess (McMaster’s University and Perimeter Institute)
Jo Dunkley (Oxford)
Pedro Ferreira (Oxford)
Josh Frieman (Fermilab)
Jaume Garriga (Universitat de Barcelona)
Catherine Heymans (Edinburgh)
Wayne Hu (U. Chicago)
Justin Khoury (U. Pennsylvania)
Sergey Sibiryakov (INR, Moscow)
Richard Woodard (U. Florida)

Further details of the meeting, including a registration form, can be found on the conference webpages:

http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/physics/con ... /home.aspx

Registration is free, and if you would like to give a talk at this meeting, please submit a title and abstract when you register, for consideration by the organising committee. A special rate has been arranged for on-campus accommodation and a link can be found on the webpages.

We would be very grateful if you could pass this on to other friends and colleagues, and look forward to seeing you in Nottingham, one of England's oldest cities, and home to its oldest pubs!

Tony Padilla, Paul Saffin and Costas Skordis
