The Particle/Astrophysics Theory Group at Case Western Reserve
University will have an opening for a postdoctoral scholar
beginning in fall 2008. The group currently includes three active faculty
(with a search for another) , four postdoctoral researchers and numerous
students. Associated theoretical, experimental and observational
researchers within the Center for Education and Research in Cosmology
and Astrophysics work in large scale structure, galaxy and cluster
formation and evolution, dark matter detection, CMB and cosmic ray
observation. Areas of current research among the P/A theorists include
early universe studies, extra dimensions, black holes, modified gravity,
CMB studies, gravitational waves, dark matter and dark energy,
large-scale structure and topological studies in field theory. Applicants
should send a CV and description of research interests, and have three
supporting letters sent to PAT postdoc search c/o L. Morton, Dept of
Physics, CWRU, 10900 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106-7079 and email
