Call for Expression of Interest for PhD in Cosmology at IFCA, Santander (Spain)

The “Instituto de Física de Cantabria” (IFCA, https://ifca.unican.es/en-us) in Santander (Spain) welcomes expressions of interest for PhD positions on Cosmology, with special emphasis on research related with line-intensity mapping, a novel technique to probe the Universe. The selected candidates will work under the supervision of José Luis Bernal (https://jl-bernal.github.io/), Diego Herranz, and Mathieu Remazeilles.

In addition, the selected candidates will become member of the Observational cosmology and Instrumentation (https://ifca.unican.es/en-us/research/observational-cosmology-and-instrumentation). The group has extended expertise in Cosmic Microwave Background science, gravitational lensing, line-intensity mapping and dark matter and beyond-the-Standard-Model research, combining theoretical, observational and instrumental work, and features a vibrant scientific environment.

Candidates should have a Master Degree in Physics, provide a CV, including full list of University Grades, and arrange for two letters of reference to be sent by e-mail ([Log in to view email]). The selection will be based on the academic and scientific record of the candidates, the recommendation letters, and the potential of the candidate to integrate will in the group.
