The research group led by Dr. Sofie Marie Koksbang at the Centre for Cosmology and Particle Physics Phenomenology (CP3-Origins) at the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy, the University of Southern Denmark, invites applications for two PhD positions. The successful applicants will contribute to the project "Observational effects of big and small structures in the Universe" and have a strong focus on numerical work. A brief (popular science) project description can be found at https://veluxfoundations.dk/en/about/projects-granted#/0066700000uJHOQAA4.

Successful applicants will show a willingness to learn programming skills and convey an enthusiasm for doing computational cosmology within the research field typical of of Dr. Koksbang's previous work (https://arxiv.org/search/?query=koksbang&searchtype=all&source=header).

See the full call and submit your application at https://www.sdu.dk/da/service/ledige_stillinger/1204497
For further details or questions, please contact Dr. Sofie Marie Koksbang, koksbang[at]cp3.sdu.dk

As of February 10 2023, the call was "re-announced". However, it is the same call as earlier, but now has some extra information meant to help potential applicants with their application. Specifically, the call requires applicants to include a project description. Here, the applicant should instead consider writing a research statement.
