Ph.D. fellowships at the University of Oslo

The Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics of the University of Oslo offers four – five Ph.D. research fellowships to students who will start Ph.D. studies in the autumn semester 2020. The application deadline is the 29th of February.

All fellowships require that the candidate fulfills all requirements for being accepted as a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University of Oslo. These requirements include that the candidate has a bachelor degree with at least the average grade C on the ECTS scale and a master’s degree which includes a research thesis, and where both the grade of the thesis and the average grade of courses included in the master’s degree are B (ECTS) or better. Candidates, except those listed in Application and admission to the PhD programme in natural sciences, MUST submit documentation of English proficiency with their application.
