Postdoc in Helsinki

The Helsinki Institute of Physics (HIP) at the University of Helsinki invites applications for one postdoctoral fellowship in particle cosmology starting in 2018.

HIP combines particle physics and cosmology. We are involved in the Planck and Euclid missions and the CMS experiment at CERN. We work closely with the Division of Particle Physics and Astrophysics at the Department of Physics. The HIP/Department staff includes Kari Enqvist, Alexis Finoguenov, Mark Hindmarsh, Katri Huitu, Peter Johansson, Esko Keski-Vakkuri, Hannu Kurki-Suonio, Oleg Lebedev, Kari Rummukainen, Syksy Räsänen, Kimmo Tuominen and Aleksi Vuorinen.

The appointment is for two years. The starting date is October 1. The salary is 40 000 euros/year, plus funds for travel expenses.
