Post-doc in Theoretical Cosmology at CP3-Origins

Posted: October 30 2016
by Martin S. Sloth
A post-doc opportunity in theoretical cosmology will this year be available in the cosmology group at CP³-Origins, University of Southern Denmark

The job is in connection with the project “Inflationary Crossroads: Uncovering the Origin of the Universeâ€, and we particularly encourage candidates interested in theoretical cosmology and early universe models (primordial inflation, quantum cosmology, LSS, CMB physics, string cosmology, etc.) to apply. The project is funded by Villum Fonden grant 13384, held by Martin S. Sloth.

The Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics Phenomenology (http://cp3-origins.dk) contains at the moment 10 faculty members and several post-docs and PhD students in the areas of cosmology, particle physics phenomenology, beyond standard model physics, astroparticle physics, collider phenomenology (both SM and BSM), and lattice field theory. For further information, see our webpage.

The post-doc opportunity will come with plenty of support for travel and computer equipment. Danish post-doc salaries are competitive and the Odense area is a very nice and affordable area to live in.

Priority will be given to letters of interest received within the deadline December 1, 2016, but late letters may be considered until the opening has been filled.
