Joint Postdoctoral position at the ACGC at the University of

The Astrophysics, Cosmology and Gravity Centre in the Department of Mathematics & Applied Mathematics at the University of Cape Town invites applications for a postdoctoral position to be held jointly with the Cosmology group and the Laboratory for Quantum Gravity and Strings. All applications will be considered but preference will be given to applicants working in the area of fundamental research in gravity including effective field theory, inflation and string cosmology. The position will start in 2013 for a period of two years. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a statement of research interests and must arrange for at least three letters of recommendation to be submitted. Applications should be received by February 28 2013, however applications will be considered until the positions have been filled. We reserve the right not to fill the position.
