POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS IN THEORETICAL PHYSICS
INSTITUTE FOR THEORETICAL PHYSICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HEIDELBERG
The elementary particle and cosmology division of the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Heidelberg
invites applications for postdoctoral positions in theoretical physics.
The positions are expected to be filled in the fall of 2012.
The appointment is for a period of two years.
The elementary particle and cosmology division consists of Prof. L. Amendola, Prof. J. Berges, Prof. A. Hebecker, Prof. T. Plehn,
Prof. C. Wetterich, Dr. T. Weigand, several associated professors, about 15 junior scientists and postdocs, and 25 postgraduate students.
The division runs a lively international visitor program. The research covers a wide range of topics in particle theory, including in particular particle-cosmology,
particle phenomenology, quantum chromodynamics,
supersymmetry and string theory, non-perturbative and non-equilibrium quantum field theory, including applications to ultracold quantum gases.
