Institute for the Early Universe (http://ieu.ewha.ac.kr) at Ewha University in Seoul, Korea is soliciting up to six postdoctoral fellows in cosmology research from the early to late universe. IEU is supported by Ewha University and the World Class University project and partners with the Berkeley Center for Cosmological Physics (http://bccp.lbl.gov). Main research areas include CMB, fundamental physics including inflation, nature of dark matter and dark energy, and innovative space technologies and (micro)satellite experiments. Postdoctoral researchers will join an international group of faculty and postdocs and actively participate in one or more of: data analysis and simulation for Planck, BOSS, and future dark energy missions, theoretical investigation and modeling in cosmology and string theory, and development of space and advanced instrumentation.

The appointment is for two years initially, and can be renewed. The stipend is in the range of \$24,000 to \$40,000 per year depending on the research experience, qualifications, and exchange rate; health care premiums are normally provided at no additional cost.

Applicants should send (by email is required) curriculum vitae, list of publications, short statement of research interests and plans, and three letters of reference to Prof. George Smoot, Director of IEU, ([Log in to view email]) or Prof. Changrim Ahn, PI of WCU project, ([Log in to view email]). Applications sent by December 1 will receive full consideration although applications will continue to be accepted until the positions are filled.
