CosmoMC: Chi^2 plot

Post by Mario Acero » November 21 2006

Hello,

I am new in using CosmoMC and I need to ask something that may be very easy.
I would like to know if it is possible to see the [tex]\chi^2[/tex] values for each of the parameters I am using and then, to get a plot of it.

Thank you very much,

MarioA.

The second column of the chain files output by CosmoMC contain the -log(likelihood) for each model.

Hi, Antony,

Does this -log(likelihood) include 0.5\times log(det(Cov)) or just simply 0.5\times \chi^2? If it only refers to 0.5\times \chi^2, have we already lost some information when combining several cosmological probes together?
