camb @ high redshift

Hi ,
I want to get transfer function for various components( CDM , Baryon ,neutrino etc.) at a very high redshift (say 3500). When I change the redshift option at params.ini and run it , it produces some imaginary number for sigma8 and it gives a crazy output.
but for CMBFAST it is not the case . Can anyone help me ...
