Cobaya: The sum of logpriors in the sample is not consistent.

Post by Hidde T Jense » April 27 2023

I have run a chain with a camb theory + CMB likelihood to convergence. Now, I want to find the best-fitting theory curve for the CMB model with camb. According to the docs, I merely need to re-run the chain with the --minimize flag. However, when I do so, I get an error saying

Code: Select all

cobaya.log.LoggedError: Error when loading samples: The sum of logpriors in the sample is not consistent.
I can plot the chain just fine with getdist, and I cannot find an error in the chain file myself. What do I (need to) do?

Note upon closer inspection, running my original settings yaml with the --resume flag yields the same error?

If this is reproducible (without changing anything between runs), please could you submit the exact inputs and anything to reproduce it as a github issue.
