CAMB: output matter power specturm

Post by Zhuangfei Wang » September 13 2022

Hello:

I just have a question on how to output P_vv, P_dv power spectra from CAMB. The default case could only do P_dd. Thanks.

Using the python interface is probably easiest.

Thanks, Antony. Just one further question on this. I noticed that the transferred velocity variables are normalized by -k/H, e.g. -k*sigma/adotoa for Transfer_Newt_vel_cdm. Is there a specific reason why it has to be done in this way? Also, if I want to output the actual velocity power spectrum, do I need to remove this normalization factor from the source? Thanks a lot

k/H default units are historical. The normalization makes it scale like the density, and most relevant for redshift distortions.
