CosmoMC: Using MPICH compiler

Hi
I'm using cosmomc with MPICH as openmpi is not available in the cluster. I ran a basic chain runs for a day and the resulting convergence was very high. Any suggestions on how to speed up/optimize runs for mpich compiler?
