Easiest CMB code to modify?

Hello,
I want to derive various CMB spectra for different modified cosmological models. I see a lot of codes for this, CAMB, EFTCAMB, CMBfast and more. Which code lends itself best to modify the underlying cosmology, and what are the pros and cons of the different codes?
