[CosmoMC] The mystery of galf_TE_A_143_217/galfTE143217

Hi all,

I am a bit puzzled by one of the nuisance parameters of the Planck TTTEEE high-ell likelihood, galf_TE_A_143_217, or more accurately by its prior.

In the current version of CosmoMC, by default it's a Gaussian prior of center 0.6 and width 0.18.

In the parameters files of the "official" Planck 2015 chains on the PLA, it is a Gaussian prior of center 0.3 and width 0.09.

In the default parameter files of the current version of MontePython, it is still a Gaussian prior of center 0.3 and width 0.09.

In the Planck XI 2015 paper (page 20 Table 10), it's a Gaussian prior of center 0.6 and width 0.18.

In the official Planck wiki (https://wiki.cosmos.esa.int/planckpla20 ... ihood_Code), t's a Gaussian prior of center 0.6 and width 0.018.

Does anyone know if some of them are typos, "old" recommendations, etc., and which one is the most up-to-date and/or correct ?

Thanks !

This was a bug that was present when we ran the parameter chains and first version of the papers, but was later fixed (except in the chains and parameter results which were not rerun - it changes almost nothing). So the chains should be wrong, cosmomc should be right and the wiki should be a typo.
