Omega_Total much greater than 1 in CAMB and CosmoMC

Post by Nishanth Sasankan » April 09 2018

Hi Everyone,

I run CAMB with a model of dark energy(some parameter dependent) which predicts the age of the universe =11.0 Gyrs. When I run CosmoMC I expect this parameter value which predicts Age=11Gyrs to have extremely low likelihood. However, CosmoMC gives me likelihood value around .1 (from GetDistGUI) for this parameter value. Is this supposed to happen ? or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance
Nishanth
