CAMB: providing scale factor explicitly

Post by Álvaro DOMBRIZ » February 09 2011

Hi all,

I'm dealing with CAMB code and I was wondering if it is possible to provide the analytical expression of scale factor as a function of time (either conformal or cosmic) in the code explicitly.

The scale factor is usually "determined" in CAMB by integrating in time Friedmann equation as a first order differential equation. This fact is true for general relativity but not for a wide variety of modified gravities, so the standard method might not be very convenient.

Any ideas or comments are more than welcome
