Transparency in 2D contour plots

Hi All,

I am attempting to overlay 2 filled contours in matlab using cosmomc chain files. I am aware of the matlab script that ships with cosmomc that shows the boundary of the bottom contour as dashed lines (show_contours_behind.m). Instead, what I am hoping to accomplish is to have the the top filled contour somewhat transparent so that the bottom filled contour can be seen through it. Can anybody share their matlab wizardly to help??
