Question about CAMB

Post by moslem zarei » June 16 2008

Dear all

After running cosmomc, I get some parameters which has been fitted.
Now I want to know that does CAMB use these new fitted parameters for plotting or we must add to CAMB/params.ini file manually? If yes which one?

Thanks

You need to run CAMB separately to get the power spectrum.

I have a script that can be used (with MANY caveats, including basic models only) to pull best-fit or mean values from a getdist output file and modify a CAMB input .ini file appropriately. If you use it, please check the results carefully!

Question about CAMB

Post by moslem zarei » June 30 2008

Dear Antony
Thenks for the script. I use it but still I have a problem. I run the ./getdist distparams.ini and then I go to the camb subdirectory and run ./camb params.ini. Then I use the outpot data file for plotting the [tex]C^{T}_{l}[/tex] in terms of [tex]l[/tex]. But when I compare my result to the recent papers (for example: http://arxiv.org/abs/0801.1491v2) I noticed that they are different. I have also gotten the experimental data from the
http://lambda.gsfc.nasa.gov/product/map ... ec_get.cfm
I noticed that there are some points in my case which do not lie on the [tex]C^{T}_{l}[/tex] diagram while in that papers lie.
I request you to help me about this problem also.

Bests
