We are pleased to announce the release of the SuperBayeS package, a new tool for the statistical analysis of SUSY parameter spaces.
SuperBayeS combines state-of-the-art SUSY codes to produce predictions of observable quantities for supersymmetric models, and compares them to current observational constraints. It employs a Markov Chain Monte Carlo technique to sample efficiently the parameter space and to produce probability distributions for all variables of interest and their correlations.
Among the features of SuperBayeS:
* computation of SUSY spectra, electroweak observables, branching ratios, relic dark matter abundance, direct detection and indirect detection quantities
* evaluation of the constraints from most up-to-date experimental data
* full inclusion of theoretical uncertainties
* Bayesian Markov Chain Monte Carlo scanning of parameter space or fixed-grid mode scanning
* comparison of Bayesian and frequentist (chi-square) probabilities
* MPI support for multiple-processors run
* easily customizable to the general MSSM
* fully customizable tools for analysing and plotting the results
* user-friendly parameter input, mutuated from cosmomc
The package is now publicly available from the website: www.superbayes.org
