Use of Cobaya. camb, CLASS, cosmomc, compilers, etc.

tensor modes at high l -normal, numerical effect, or wrong s

Post by Zhiqi Huang » July 10 2007

I use camb to generate TT Cls, see http://www.astro.utoronto.ca/~zqhuang/u ... t-cmbTT.ps

I use r=0.2, lmax=30250 (for both tensor and scalar) and simple concordance model. Dashed line is tensor contribution, while solid line is Scalar.

It is werid (to me) that tensor Cls blow up at high l (>10000). Is this normal? I checked the ini file, but can not find anything wrong.

I would not trust tensor output at l>>1000 - they are completely negligible there for standard models.
