CMBEASY 4.0 + AMD64

Post by Pavluchenko Sergey » July 22 2005

working (on x86) version of CMBEASY 4.0 was transfered into AMD64 machine and appear to be incompileble - it don't want to compile, and write A LOT of errors. GSL was installed on this AMD successfully. Exactly the same code compiles and works wel on 32-bit x86 computer.
If anyone faced and solved this problem - please, share a solution :-) Any clues are welcome as well :-)

CMBEASY 4.0 + AMD64

cmbeasy v4.0 was actually *developed* on an AMD64 machine :-]

It's running on no less than *six* AMD64 machines at the very moment here in Heidelberg and it runs forever and flawlessly, if you don't switch them off.

What you have to observe, however is that you use the right libraries, i.e. that on a 64 Bit machine, compiling 64bit output you have to link against the 64bit libs.

Hope that helps :-)
