Running WL alone in CosmoMC

Post by Shouvik Roychoudhury » June 25 2017

Hi,

I am trying to run WL ultra conservative dataset alone with basic \Lambda CDM model. However I am getting a much broader allowed area in the \sigma_{8} vs \Omega_{m} plot than in the pink plot in figure 5 of the following paper: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1303.1808.pdf

I am using the following .ini file:

Code: Select all

DEFAULT(batch2/WLonly.ini)
DEFAULT(batch2/common.ini)
MPI_Max_R_ProposeUpdate = 30
propose_matrix= planck_covmats/base_WLonly.covmat
root_dir = chains/base_wl/
file_root=base_wl
action = 0
num_threads = 0
start_at_bestfit =F
feedback=1
use_fast_slow = T
checkpoint = T
indep_sample=10
get_sigma8=T
What might I be doing wrong?

The batch2 WL data sets have more conservative k cuts, see the 2015 Planck parameter paper for details. The parameter prior ranges may also be different.
