I have the June 2016 version of CosmoMC, and realized I need to update GetDist (because of the matplotlib contour issue described here: https://github.com/cmbant/getdist/issues/9). If I'd installed GetDist separately from CosmoMC e.g. with pip I could just use pip to update. What's the best/preferred way to update GetDist when I obtained it through CosmoMC? Should I just maintain a separate version through pip and keep that updated? Thanks.

Ah I'd missed that CosmoMC itself is maintained on GitHub. Thanks.
