Smoothing on getdist

Post by Pablo Lemos » September 13 2016

Hi,

I have a question about GetDist to analyse CosmoMC chains. I want to change the smoothing on my marginalized 1D plots. I understand how smooth_scale_1D = -1 selects an optimized smoothing scale for each parameter, and how by changing this parameter I can choose a bin width for all the parameters. But I would like to choose a different bin width for each parameter, is there an easy way to do it?

Thanks
Pablo

You can set a bin width as a function of the standard deviation of each parameter (by setting fraction between zero and 1).
