Post by Camille Bonvin » November 22 2015

The Cosmology and Astroparticle physics group at the University of Geneva invites applications for one postdoctoral position in cosmology. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Camille Bonvin on large-scale structure, tests of gravity and dark energy. He/She will be encouraged to interact with other members of the cosmology group as well as to engage in independent research. Postdocs are required to participate in academic activities such as teaching, the organisation of seminars or journal clubs.

A PhD degree and relevant research experience are required. The position is initially for two years and is renewable for a third one, subject to performance. The anticipated start date is the 1st of October 2016.

Applications containing a CV, publication list, statement of research interests and the names and email addresses of three referees who will provide letters of recommendation should be submitted via academicjobsonline (https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/6698) by December 6, 2015. Late applications may still be considered until the position is filled.

Information about the research interests of the Cosmology and Astroparticle physics group can be found at http://cosmology.unige.ch/. Members of the group with overlapping interests are: Vincent Desjacques, Ruth Durrer, Martin Kunz, Michele Maggiore and Antonio Riotto. The group maintains close interactions with the CERN theory division.
