POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS IN THEORETICAL PHYSICS
INSTITUTE FOR THEORETICAL PHYSICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HEIDELBERG

The particle physics and cosmology division of the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Heidelberg invites applications for postdoctoral positions in theoretical physics. The positions are expected to be filled in the fall of 2016.
The appointment is for a period of two years. (Later extension to three years possible.)
The particle physics and cosmology division consists of Prof. L. Amendola, Prof. J. Berges, Prof. A. Hebecker, Prof. J. Jaeckel, Prof. J. Pawlowski, Dr. V. Pettorino, Prof. T. Plehn, Prof. D. Roggenkamp, Prof. T. Weigand, Dr. S. Westhoff, Prof. C. Wetterich, and Prof J. Walcher as a partner of the Mathematical Institute. In addition, several associated professors, about 15 junior scientists and postdocs, and 25 postgraduate students work at the institute.
The division runs a lively international visitor program. The research covers a wide range of topics in particle theory, including in particular particle-cosmology, particle phenomenology, quantum chromodynamics, physics beyond the standard model, string theory, non-perturbative and non-equilibrium quantum field theory, including applications to ultracold quantum gases.

Applicants should submit the following items
• Cover Letter
• Curriculum Vitae
• Research Statement
• Publication List
• Three Reference Letters (to be submitted by the reference writer)

In the Cover Letter you should mention which one of the above listed faculty members you are most interested in
