Is the "halofit" not precise for k>1 h/Mpc?

Is the \"halofit\" not precise for k>1 h/Mpc?

Post by YinZhe Ma » February 22 2014

Hi everyone,

1. I come across a problem related to halo fit. If I fix all other cosmological parameters in CAMB, but only vary dark energy EoS parameter w. And I output non-linear P(k), I obtain the fractional difference as the attached figure:

/cosmo_files.php?file=YinZhe_Ma/diff.jpg

I do not know why on scale of [tex]k \sim 1[/tex] h/Mpc, there is a bump for w=-0.8 and w=-1.2?

2. In Peacock's webpage:
http://www.roe.ac.uk/~jap/haloes/

Last sentence, there is a correction for very small k value, basically
(1+2y^2)/(1+y^2), y=k/10

Therefore, my question is, have CAMB already incorporated this correction, or not?
