Difference nu_masses, grhormass, rhonu

Post by Paul Anthony Fronteri » February 02 2014

Hey.

I am a little confused about the different numbers that one have in the program for neutrinos.

Could anyone explain to be the actual difference between and what it tells us?

nu_masses(nu_i) or in particular a*nu_masses

grhormass(nu_i)

And the function NU_background give out what I think is the density of each neutrino degeneracy (and momentum)

rhonu and pnu

and then what grhormass(nu_i)*rhonu, and grhormass(nu_i)*pnu gives me?

I am sorry for such a simple question, but I thaugh I had it, but I am not so sure anymore. As I understand does a*nu_masses gives me the actual mass of the neutrino, grhormass the density of each degenracy of neutrinos, but then what about rhonu and pnu?

Thanks in advanced to anyone could explain in little more detail.

I think most of this is defined in the CAMB notes sectionon on neutrinos
