Salary: £32620 to £43840 per annum depending on skills and experience (salary can progress to £50,822 per annum, subject to performance)

Applications are invited for the above post at the University of Nottingham as part of the second phase of the Midlands Physics Alliance Graduate School. This HEFCE-supported initiative is developing collaborative research and graduate teaching between the neighbouring universities of Nottingham, Birmingham and Warwick. This second phase of the program is to expand the collaboration into the field of particle physics. The person appointed will build on the strengths of the Nottingham Particle Theory Group in the study of early universe cosmology, dark matter, dark energy and modified gravity. Candidates whose research compliments and extends the current interests of the Group, are encouraged to apply.

Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant subject, together with relevant research experience. An interest, and preferably experience, in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level is also important.
