Limit on num_vars?

Post by Steven Pediani » February 08 2009

I have a strange issue, I have added four new parameters to cosmomc putting them in parameter positions 14, 15 ,16 and 17. This has moved \Omega_\Lambda, Age/Gyr, \Omega_m, \sigma_8, z_{re} and H_0 to parameter positions 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 24.

The problem is when I run getdist, H_0 is missing in the outputs. test.margstats only goes up to z_{re}. The value of num_vars is 11, meaning H_0 is not given in the output (num_vars should be 12). I have editted distparams.ini so that lab24 = H_0 and plotparams_num = 0.

I've checked the chains, and they do contain H_0.

Hence I was wondering if there is some limit on num_vars set elsewhere? What have I missed?

Sorted. I needed to increase the number of columns read in the chains in distparams.ini
