Segmentation fault - June 2008 version

Post by Ana Vasile » September 23 2008

Hi,

I am getting segmentation fault when I run CosmoMC June 2008 release, WMAP only, with the provided params.ini in which I set
#omk
param5 = 0. -0.09 0.09 0.001 0.001

Here is the debugging message:

Thread received signal SEGV
stopped at [real*4 function chisqexact(real*4 (1:2100,1:3), type cmbdataset):107 0x0809d237]
107 call SetTheoryFromCAMB(Info%Theory)

Just in case this is system dependent: I use either mpif90 or ifort (9.1.039), Healpix_2.01, LAPACK 8.1 (32)

Do you have any ideas of what might happen?

Try updating the intel compiler - there were bugs affecting lensing when compiled with openmp in older compiler versions.
