WMAP5 likelihood and COSMOMC

Post by Davide Pietrobon » March 07 2008

Hi all!

Has anyone tried to use the new 5 years wmap_likelihood_code in cosmomc?
I'm trying and the first thing to do is to change slightly the name of the routines in cmbdata.F90.
Is there any other hidden modification?

I'm testing DE models with time dependent EoS.
My problem is that sometimes the likelihood code gives NaN. They changed the lowl routine, but the old one should be still available (and not working too).

With the previous WMAP3 likelihood code my modified camb worked.

any suggestion?

Many thanks

Davide

I've done a number of runs and it seems to work fine - results in pretty good agreement with the WMAP papers for basic 7-parameter models.

The latest WMAP5-supporting CosmoMC is now available at

Thank you very much, Antony!

I'll modify the latest version of cosmomc in order to include my model. I hope it is not too weird that the wmap5 likelihood code crashes.

Thank you again

Davide
