Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Cosmology
Department of Physics, McGill University


We are currently seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of cosmology, beginning as early as September 2017. Appointments at higher ranks will be considered in exceptional cases. The successful candidate will also have the chance to become a member of the newly established McGill Space Institute.

The department has strong interests in cosmic microwave background, galaxy evolution, 21cm, early universe, structure formation, astrophysics and research at the interface of cosmology and high energy physics.

All candidates in cosmology, broadly defined, are invited to apply. This includes candidates who bridge theory with experiment / observation. The successful candidate will be a strong teacher and an outstanding researcher. Candidates should submit: a CV; a statement of research goals and plans; a statement of teaching interests and philosophy; and arrange for at least three letters of reference.
