getdist output files: likestat and minmarge limits significa

Post by soumini chaudhury » January 24 2014

Are the equal-likelihood 1D
limits generated in the 'file_root.minmarge' marginalised over the rest
N-1 parameters?

What does the the second set of limits (upper/lower 2) in
the 'file_root.likestats' stand for? As I understand the upper/lower 1
limits stand for N-D limits on the parameters.

Yes.

Yes, they are extremal projections into 1D of the N-D limit surface (not often used..)
