Why the evolution in CAMB is separated into two regions in t

Post by jesus edel » January 12 2013

As we ask, If I am right the evolution of CAMB is separated into two parts for k, in the subrutine CalcScalarSources and GetTransfer. Studying the code I have seen that the evolution into the GetTransfer subrutine only take two points in tau, from de initial condition until today. Why is this??

CalcScalarSources is for the CMB angular power spectra, GetTransfer is for the matter power spectrum (and related outputs) [by default only evaluated today].

But in CalcScalarSources the evolution is taken on steps of tau given for TimeSteps%points from tau_start= GetTauStart(EV%q)
to CP%tau0. In another hand in GetTransfer only is taken two points in tau, tau_start=GetTauStart and tautf, not intermediate points.
