Post by Anne Green » February 17 2012

Research Associate/Fellow in Physics of the early and late universe (fixed-term)

Applications are invited for the above STFC funded post to begin in October 2012, in which candidates will have the opportunity to work with members of both the particle theory and quantum gravity groups. Candidates with research interests in the area of Early and Late Universe Physics are encouraged to apply. In particular we are interested in those working in dark energy, dark matter and modified gravity. Because of the nature of the consolidated grant funding this position, jointly held between the schools of physics and astronomy and mathematical sciences, the candidate will have a unique opportunity to interact with members of both schools.

Candidates must have, or be close to completion of, a PhD in physics, mathematics or a related area.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Professor Ed Copeland, Email:[Log in to view email]. Please note that applications sent directly to this Email address will not be accepted.
