UCL has recently established an Institute for the Origins and Evolution of the Universe. Four new UCL post-doc positions have been created. Appointed post-docs will undertake research in one of the following areas: Planetary Science, Neutrino Physics, Galaxy Formation and Mathematical Foundations. For information see http://www.ucl.ac.uk/origins/jobs The deadline is 12 Dec.

There are also 4 PhD studentship associated with Origins, see http://www.ucl.ac.uk/origins/infoforPhDstudents

In addition, as previously announced, we recently advertised:

* A Tenure-Track Faculty position (Lectureship) in Cosmology at the Astrophysics Group, UCL. For details see: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/phys/vacancies/ol_09_08 The deadline for applications is 30 November 2008.

* Two Post-doctoral Fellowships in Cosmology. For details see: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/phys/vacancies/ol_10-08 The deadline for applications is 01 December 2008. These are to work mainly on weak gravitational lensing (with Sarah Bridle) and on large scale structure (with Ofer Lahav). The projects are linked to DES, Euclid, WFMOS and other surveys in which we are involved.
