Cosmomc: ACBAR and CBI
Hi Antony,
I am trying to use the full data of ACBAR and CBI, i.e. including the data points that are not considered by default. But I have some questions.
ACBAR: I did not find the values in the last column of ACBAR_lge800_.dataset, beam uncertainty, in the ACBAR's paper or in its website. How can I obtain these values for data points that are not listed in ACBAR_lge800_.dataset? Also, how would the value calib_uncertainty=0.2 change?
CBI: The bandpower covariance matrix provided by the CBI website is quite different from yours, CBI2.0_2to14_matrix.dat. Can I use their covariance matrix without changing the code, or how can I obtain the correct covariance martrix for the full CBI data? Again, would the value of calib_uncertainty=0.026 change?
Thanks a lot!

Re: Cosmomc: ACBAR and CBI
The ACBAR data is at
http://cosmology.berkeley.edu/group/swl ... index.html
CBI at
http://www.astro.caltech.edu/~tjp/CBI/d ... index.html
I think for the covariance matrix you just have to de-normalize their table.
I don't see why the calibration uncertainty would change.

Hi Antony,
Thanks for your help, but
1. For the values of column "beam ncertainty" in ACBAR_lge800_.dataset, I just didn't find them in ACBAR's website and in its paper. Where are they?
2. For the covariance matrix of CBI, given a normalized matrix (as given in CBI's website), how to de-normalize it into cosmomc's format? I am sorry if this question is stupid.
Thank you.

Cosmomc: ACBAR and CBI
Hi All,
Has anyone tried to incorporate the CBI deep (astro-ph/0205384) and mosaic (astro-ph/0205388) data into cosmomc? The bandpowers and their uncertainty can be found in CBI's website, http://www.astro.caltech.edu/~tjp/CBI/data/index.html. The noise power spectra can be found in the figures of their papers; however, they are not tabulated. Does anyone have the tabulated values? Also, I am wondering what the values of the calib_uncertainty (as in CBI2.0_lge600.dataset) are for the CBI deep and mosaic. Finally, I will appreciate if anyone could give me a hint how to convert the covariance matrixs in the CBI website into the cosmomc format.
Thanks!
