Call for Expression of Interest for PhD in Cosmology at IFCA, Santander (Spain)

The “Instituto de Física de Cantabria” (IFCA, https://ifca.unican.es/en-us) in Santander (Spain) welcomes expressions of interest for PhD positions on Cosmology, with special emphasis on research related with line-intensity mapping, a novel technique to probe the Universe. The selected candidates will work under the supervision of José Luis Bernal (https://jl-bernal.github.io/), Diego Herranz, and Mathieu Remazeilles.
In addition, the selected candidates will become member of the Observational cosmology and Instrumentation (https://ifca.unican.es/en-us/research/observational-cosmology-and-instrumentation). The group has extended expertise in Cosmic Microwave Background science, gravitational lensing, line-intensity mapping and dark matter and beyond-the-Standard-Model research, combining theoretical, observational and instrumental work, and features a vibrant scientific environment.
Candidates should have a Master Degree in Physics, provide a CV, including full list of University Grades, and arrange for two letters of reference to be sent by e-mail ([Log in to view email]). The search will go on until suitable candidates are identified, but expressions of interest must be sent before September 15th for full consideration. The selection will be based on the academic and scientific record of the candidates, the recommendation letters, and the potential of the candidate to integrate will in the group.
