Hi, Antony,
I'm using the latest version of CosmoMC on Sciama but some of my jobs were stopped due to the bus error. Although the .chk files are produced, sadly I haven't corrected checkpointing as described in http://cosmocoffee.info/viewtopic.php?t=2120 (Is the way in my last post really the way to do that?). Thus after re-submitting exactly the same job script, only the .log, .converge_stat and output files are updated, but not for all the chain files.
I'm wondering is there any way to save the previously done part of the job, rather than start all over again? If I've applied that correction before, this situation won't take place, will it?
Thank you very much again!

Re: CosmoMC April 2013 version: checkpoint
Try the June version if having issues with older version checkpoint files.
Re: CosmoMC April 2013 version: checkpoint
Problem solved by re-submitting the jobs after correcting checkpointing and the jobs did resume!
Thanks again!
