Hi, Antony,
Sorry to bother you again. This time is a small question.
I know that cosmomc computes XXXLnLike as a quantity related to one half of \chi^2, for each cosmological probe XXX, e.g. WeakLenLnLike. However, according to the standard expression of -ln(likelihood), there should be some constants (including 0.5*ln(|C|)) besides 0.5*\chi^2. I do know that if using only one probe, it's indeed trivial to discuss the necessity of including those constants. I'm not entirely sure whether we still don't need to include those constants when doing joint analyses amongst several probes, since several XXXLnLike will be added together. Could you enlighten me on that?
Thanks!
best regards,
Xin
